CHAPTER 2

As the third quarter comes to close, it’s an important time to reflect on the quarter and the year as a whole. This quarter I actually had some interest in what we are doing. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge in this quarter, knowledge that I can use in next quarter. The topic for this quarter was new to me and I have not learned much about HTML’s or I haven’t learned anything new from what I’ve already known. In the past two months, I have been able to learn how to describe and compare the two kinds of tags, how to define HTML, how to identify basic tags used in HTML, how to create an HTML file using the basic HTML tags, how to apply basic HTML Formatting Tags, how to apply text formatting and alignment attributes, and lastly learn how to apply the tags in HTML frames and tables. To be honest enjoyed this quarter’s topic.  It was easy but lots of works to do especially in typing and memorizing each HTML tags to be used. It was a little bit hard to understand our lesson but it helped me to understand the importance or relevance of computer literacy.

Throughout our learning, we cannot avoid circumstances or challenges. Major problems I have encountered are slow WIFI connection, lack of knowledge about the lesson and having a hard time understanding the lesson. I think these challenges are also the problems of my fellow schoolmates. Even though I encountered many challenges throughout my learning, I still learned how to handle or deal with challenges.

I addressed the challenges I have encountered by managing my time well, by reading some information about the lesson and by asking some help from my parents. I think the most important to do now specially that we are in a blended learning is to stay engaged. Staying engaged is very crucial for us students, it is important to stay connected with the school by any means necessary.

Moving on, I will promise to be better or be more responsible student. I will manage my time better so that I can pass the modules on time. I need to be more passionate about what I am doing. This passion will drive me to be disciplined and to persevere when deadlines are looming. I will do better in the next quarter. I knew that I did not meet my expectations in the past quarters, and I did not want to continue down the path.
