ONE STEP CLOSER

This quarter, I believe I have learnt from some of the past quarters' blunders that have prevented me from thriving. One thing that I did well, was using my time well in doing my modules. Also, I have found it to be very beneficial that I give myself a time to read the concept notes of the module, I reviewed them before I did the learning task or my homework. Regarding homework, I discovered that using the internet to look things up was quite helpful, especially when no other resources were accessible.

ICT class is so interesting and attention grabbing to me. I enjoy ICT class but only when I can totally understand what we're doing and what's going on. So far, I've gained a great understanding about the lessons and skills that I never thought I'd have. I've improved a lot during this quarter, my writing skills and comprehension skills have improved. The topic for this quarter is Community-Based Research, this topic in this quarter was not new to me because we did some researches when i was in 9th grade. I was able to comprehend the lesson and been able to meet the specific learning goals. The topic for this quarter was a lot of fun, but it also needs a massive effort, particularly with doing all the parts of the research and making the essays for the blog post.

Throughout my learning in this quarter I have also encountered some circumstances. I can't get myself to get out of the bed and finish my learning task most of the times. I have this attitude that if i feel unmotivated and distracted i just lose interest in the activity or lose interest in its efficacy, this mindset makes me entirely ignore about all I need to do.

To address the challenges I have encountered, I must accept my own laziness without feeling bad or guilty about it, to find out the source of my lack of motivation, to understand my own motivation style and to set more reasonable goals. I must also accomplish something small everyday so that positive energy will continue onto my next endeavor even if it’s something I dread doing.

Moving on, I will strive better to become more responsible student. I will manage my time better to avoid procrastination that often happens to me in this quarter. I know that I can do better in the next quarter. I'm now ready to face the possible challenges I might encounter along the way.
