Save the Earth, Save Ourselves

Earth is sick with multiple and worsening environmental ills killing millions of people yearly. We all know that the Earth is a sick patient because of this climate change and global warming. The health effect of these environmental problems is overwhelmingly negative. This climate change and global warming affects the social and environmental determinants of health- clean air, safe drinking, sufficient food, and secure shelter. There are many changes occurred around the world because of this climate change and global warming. Increased heat, increased wildfires, drought and insect outbreaks, flooding and erosion in coastal areas are only some of the effects or changes occurred around the world. I believe that we can still do something to stop the problem about these environmental problems or to lessen the effects of it. Spreading awareness about global warming and climate change is one of the most important things.

The temperature of the earth is increasing over the past few years and this affects climate change.  The impacts of rising temperatures and the effects of global warming are appearing right now and we need to do something. Different sectors around the world are contributing towards creating awareness about global warming, we need also to do ways to create awareness. First thing we need to do is to educate people about the cause and effects of global warming on us humans. Education is an essential element of the global response to climate change and global warming. This will help people to easily understand the effects or impacts of these environmental problems. Second thing we need to do is encouraging youth to join some of the environmental activities. These environmental activities will increase the thinking skills of the students as they will understand and learn the various ways using which they can improve the living conditions of the world. Third thing we need to do is using social media platforms to raise awareness. Through the use of hashtags, social media serves as a powerful tool for us people to share our stories, reaching new audiences around the world. I believe that this social media can create change to the world. Fourth thing we need to do is create a simple pamphlets or brochures that include the topics about global warming and climate change. Brochures or pamphlets will increase our knowledge about the environmental problems we experience today. Fifth thing we need to do is making a inspirational and informational seminars about the impacts, cause, and effect of global warming and climate change. Seminars are the platforms to learn new aspects and to gain expert knowledge.

Impacts of climate change and global warming are happening now. The government and the people should come to create awareness about our environment. We must save the planet earth for the future. Each person should take small steps in saving our planet, every small steps count. Let’s do our best to stop or lessen the effects of global warming and climate change. Nature is a miracle that we depend upon so we must take good care of it.
