THE END

This quarter, I believe I've learned from some of the mistakes that have kept me from succeeding in previous quarters. One thing I did well was manage my time when working on my modules. Also, I've found that setting aside time to read the module's concept notes and review them before beginning the learning exercise or doing my homework has proven to be quite beneficial. When it came to homework, I learned that looking things up on the internet was quite beneficial, especially when no other resources are available. I find ICT class to be really engaging. I enjoy ICT class, but only when I fully get what we're doing and what's happening. So far, I've learned a lot about the lessons and I also developed talents that I never thought I'd have. During this quarter, I've made significant progress in my writing and comprehension skills. The topic for this quarter is all about Frontpage, this topic in this quarter was new to me because we don't have to...

RESTORE NOT DESTROY

One of the most critical components to save on this world is our ecosystem. We couldn't go a single day without it; it's the only thing that keeps life going. As a result, it is critical that we protect our environment. Also, stop all of the oppression that we are causing. Restoration of ecosystems has become a critical component of ecosystem management. It has the potential to be a key component of conservation and development programs all over the world. Ecosystem Restoration's inherited capacity to give individuals with the opportunity to not only repair ecological damage but also better their human state makes it particularly valued. Restoration has a clear conservation benefit. I have a number of ideas for projects that can aid in economic recovery. Repairing and rebuilding wetlands, creek beds, forestland, and other habitats are just a few examples. Getting rid of invasive species. Native species are being used to replace turf grass. Rain gardens are used to col...

FREEDOM, FAITH AND PRIDE

Over 120 years ago, the Philippines, a collection of over seven thousand islands in the western Pacific, declared freedom from Spanish domination. This claim was made by Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, but it wasn't until 1962 that then-President Diosdado Macapagal declared it a national holiday through a presidential decree. On this day in 1898, the Filipino flag was unfurled for the first time amid an exciting ceremony that included the first public performance of the Philippines national anthem. The country has come a long way. It is regarded as a developing market and a recently industrialized nation. The Philippines were a Spanish territory for over 300 years and called after King Philip II of Spain. The Philippines prospered throughout the Spanish period, and their rule was unremarkable. However, on April 30, 1898, the Spanish fleet was defeated by the Americans in Manila Bay. Filipino rebels surrounded Manila, seizing the opportunity, and on June 12th, their commander Emilio Agui...

The Angel of Our Lives

Because God couldn't be everywhere at the same time, he created mothers to compensate. Mother's position is preeminent in our lives in every way. Every outstanding person's accomplishment, there is the inspiration of his/her mother. She is our very first teacher, advisor, and friend. She goes out of her way to gratify each and every family member. She doesn't desire anything else despite her hard works. We take her and all of her work for us for granted. In some ways, she performs an unappreciated service for us. There are no paychecks and no vacations. 365 days of nonstop effort. Our beloved mother does everything for us, and it is only normal that we would like to make efforts to make them feel special. For that, the ninth day of May month is observed as Mother’s Day. Mom is a revered figure in the eyes of many, this day is perfect to show what her love and affection means to you. A mother never takes time off of her continuous efforts to bring up her children and...

Binatbatan Festival: A Celebration of Vigan Traditional Crafts

Festivals have social and economic implications. Happiness is overwhelmed by negativity and insecurity on our chaotic and hectic globe, thus the need for something that may provide optimism has been felt time and time again. As a result, festivals arose that allow us to forget about our troubles and appreciate the pleasant aspects of life, even if only for a few days. Festivals in the Philippines allow people to showcase their rich culture while also honoring history and patron saints. They're colorful, enormous, and full of pomp and show. It's no surprise that each province has its unique Filipino Fiesta of which they are quite proud. Vigan, Ilocos Sur is one of the grandest showcases of Philippine architectural heritage. The Binatbatan Festival is one of the various festivals that we celebrate in Vigan. Binatbatan Festival has its origins in Vigan's abel weaving business, which existed long before the Spaniards arrived to colonize the Philippines. Binatbatan Festiva...

Empowering Women for Better Future

Throughout history, women's key role in society has ensured the stability, progress, and long-term growth of nations. Women are now playing significant roles in politics, the economy, the home, society, and nation-building. The timid female of the past has been replaced by a youthful, fashion-conscious, and smart girl. In engineering, science, space research, health, and business, women are bumping elbows with males and competing with them. This significant shift in their status indicates that their emancipation is nearly complete.      The world has changed dramatically in recent years. Women have been compelled to leave their homes and enter various professions in order to supplement the income of their men folk as a result of the changing economic situation. But women, by nature, are tender, compassionate, and sympathetic. They can, therefore, become good teachers, nurses, physicians, social workers, journalists, wardens of orphanages, and ...

ONE STEP CLOSER

This quarter, I believe I have learnt from some of the past quarters' blunders that have prevented me from thriving. One thing that I did well, was using my time well in doing my modules. Also, I have found it to be very beneficial that I give myself a time to read the concept notes of the module, I reviewed them before I did the learning task or my homework. Regarding homework, I discovered that using the internet to look things up was quite helpful, especially when no other resources were accessible. ICT class is so interesting and attention grabbing to me. I enjoy ICT class but only when I can totally understand what we're doing and what's going on. So far, I've gained a great understanding about the lessons and skills that I never thought I'd have. I've improved a lot during this quarter, my writing skills and comprehension skills have improved.
